Android 4.4.1 KitKat available for manual installation Nexus 10

Android 4.4.1 KitKat is only a minor version: it prevents Google rushed to the exit, following a tracking bugs of all kinds. In the world of touchscreen tablets, the iPad has long prevailed. I must say that Android manufacturers do not have the technique that should be adopted to break: they were content to competitors of the iPad devices, often a higher price, while Google had offered its Android 3.0 Honeycomb rushed and there was not, at the time of application to justify the purchase of such a device. All this combined, it gave poor sales and a bad reputation on the Android sector, which has improved somewhat in recent years.

And it is thanks in part to Google, which has, in turn, waiting for the right time to launch his assault with a weighty argument: price. The Nexus 7 was sold at its output at a unbeatable price and Nexus 10, her older sister, came to position below the iPad Retina screen with a better defined. In other words, it was not until Google sort its own products to boost the sector, which has not been the case on the side of smartphones. Anyway, today, Android tablets are on the market and those offered by Google are updated at the same rate as the Nexus smartphones.

The Nexus 10, which received Android 4.4 should pass fairly quickly officially Android 4.4.1 shortly. That said, if you want to manually update your device, the latest version of the operating system is now available. What did it change? Little: it fixes many bugs foremost. However, we note an interesting change: the Gallery is not the default application, it is replaced by Google App + Photos in this role.
