Apple iPhone 6S Camera will be equipped with 12 megapixel sensor

The next iPhone should not really change shape but many changes are expected in the interior, including several for the photo. A 12 megapixel sensor is integrated in the rear and 5-megapixel on the front. The resolution is not everything pictured. We also reiterate often enough. Apple is the proof. Since the iPhone 4S, it found many other ways to improve the optical performance of its smartphone: sensor size, new target, etc. The iPhone 6, despite their 8-megapixel sensor and are now among the most talented smartphones photo, as were their predecessors in its generation. But it finally seems that the 8 Megapixel sensors have done its time at Apple. It should be replaced this year. The question is by what.

While the camera of the iPhone 6S feeds many rumors, not all say the same thing. Two hypotheses come back often. The first relates to the combination of two sensors, as on the One (M8) or HTC Honor 6 Plus. The second, it focuses on the integration of a 12 megapixel sensor and that is precisely what would prove the photo below, unearthed by our Taiwanese colleagues on Weibo.

This would show that it is a document for Foxconn employees, the assembler of iPhone, and describing the camera module of the next iPhone. It would stipulate such a 12 megapixel sensor is hidden inside. Note that the N71 code visible in the table under the schemes, would return to iPhone 6S Plus while the iPhone 6S would have N66 internally, according to the commentary accompanying the photo on the Chinese microblogging portal.

Other information was also disclosed there, especially that the next iPhone would be equipped with a screen with Touch Technology Force, a 5 megapixel camera and 2GB of RAM. You will notice that most of these items are not new. It's probably not a coincidence but will expect the official announcement to confirm. Like every year, it is expected in September.
